2026 Ambassadors

I have served as an Ambassador of the Burke County Chamber of Commerce since 2015, this opportunity has allowed me the possibility to learn about Burke County, the citizens and employers, as well as some of the needs within the county.  Working with Vocational Rehabilitation for the past 17 years, has expanded my knowledge, skills and abilities in working with citizens and business in meeting those ever-changing business needs.  Assisting businesses in areas of diversity and illusion, specifically regarding individuals with disAbilities who may experience obstacles and barriers to employment.
 

I am Gina Setterlind and I am with Safe Harbor, a Christ centered community for women to rebuild, renew and recover. I am thankful to be working for such an impact oriented organization that values life transformation. As a Donor Engagement Coordinator, I represent Safe Harbor in the community by sharing opportunities for engagement at churches and with businesses. During my time off, I enjoy cooking and eating out, going places with the family, shopping with my girls, walks with my dog and going to coffee with friends. I live a busy active life with my husband and three teens with sports and church activities. We are blessed and this life is a gift. Matthew 5:16 is my life verse.
