Are you thinking about buying a home, but not sure where to start, especially in challenging economic times? Olive Hill's First-time Home buyer Class can help. Olive Hill CEDC’s Home buyer Class!
In one day of training, you will learn the entire home buying process from start to finish and how to stay on track as a responsible homeowner. A certificate of completion is issued upon completion.
Are You Required to Take this Class?
Anyone can take Olive Hill's Home buyer Class, but the class is required if you're applying for a NC Housing Finance Agency Community Partner Loan Pool home loan. CPLP financing can be used independently or with and NC Home Advantage Mortgage™, including down payment assistance. Eligible first-time buyers can also apply for an MCC.If you're buying a house with your spouse or another person who will legally share the financial responsibility for making mortgage payments, then both of you must complete the class.
