Purrfect & Pawsome Valentine’s Dinner

Friends For Animals – Humane Society of Burke County invites you to celebrate Valentine’s Day with an evening of great food, music, and love for animals! Join us on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM at the American Legion Post 234 in Valdese for a special Valentine’s Dinner benefiting the animals in our care.

Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner provided by Morganton Food Company, featuring appetizers like charcuterie and shrimp cocktail, hearty entrées including smoked gouda and bacon chicken and roasted garlic herb striploin, plus sides, salad, and dessert. The evening will also include a cash bar, music by Miller Mobile DJ Service, a 50/50 drawing, and four gift baskets raffled off throughout the night.

Tickets: $40 per person ($80 per couple) or $200 for a table of six
Ticket deadline: Friday, January 30th (all sales are final)

All proceeds from this event go directly toward the care of animals at our shelter. Come enjoy a romantic and fun-filled evening while supporting a great cause!
