As an Army Medic in the North Carolina Army National Guard you will be trained to give aid and stabilize Soldiers at the point of injury, treat Soldiers at the troop medical center or aid physicians assistants in their treatment of soldiers in a clinical or field setting. with a paramedic certification from the state of Oregon you also have a chance to apply as a flight medic with our medical evaluation aviation units.

Responsibilities and Duties
Administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties
- Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment
- Instruct Soldier's on Combat Lifesaver/First Responder training course
- Manage Soldier's medical readiness, medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications and Skills
College Credits pertaining to Medical Field and Electives
Leadership Experience and Skills related to leading small teams in medical triage and other situations.
