Location: Online - An instructor will teach the class virtually using BlackBoard Collaborate. It will be a similar experience to the Face-to-Face classes. The instructor will send directions to log into BlackBoard Collaborate.

Description
Learn how to navigate WebMD for yourself, family, and pets. Beginners will learn how to browse information on common medical conditions. Individuals will get facts about common drugs, vitamins, and supplements. Learn how to access advice to live healthier. Learn how to get involved in a support group to share experiences with others who share the same medical conditions. In addition, learn about useful tools such as the symptom checker, doctor locator, hospital locator, and pharmacy locator. Individuals will learn how to access general information regarding health insurance. Beginners will learn how to use WebMD Answers where on-staff health experts will answer questions. In addition, individuals will learn how to use WebMD Pets to find information about health issues regarding pets. Teachers can receive teacher renewal credits for this class. Individuals will need access to the Internet and computer for this class.
